March & April 2009

St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, the Farmer’s Market, and an early birthday present: we were pretty busy in march and april.

Farmer’s Market

The weather got a little warmer and we decided it was time to take a trip to the Farmer’s Market for some kettle corn and super sweet strawberries. Gillian, Harrison and Penelope decided to join us. Welcome Spring!

St. Patrick’s Day

Bill’s sister Liz came to town along with Tyler’s cousin Tahara and her daughters Maribel and Aleena. We all together at our friend’s josie’s house for some St. Patrick’s Day fun, including a hunt for some leprechaun treasure.

An Early Birthday Present

After outgrowing his other bicycle and tricycle we decided to get Tyler a bicycle for his birthday. He test rode a Cars theme bike at the toy store and really liked it so we decided to get it for him. While he was in school Alana picked it up and after Daddy came home that night we pulled it out of the car. He was so excited about it we thought he was going to pee in his pants! He took it for a short spin that night and then the following weekend he and Daddy took it to the local park to try it out. He had a few mishaps, but just kept getting up and trying again.
